this seed created a pretty gnarly island scenario. I've had some trouble creating new maps to explore outside of this one (but as you can see, I haven't explored it completely yet) ~ the underground strongholds/caves are pretty insane in this map..

Here's my brick house, which is not completed yet ~ cause I'm out of clay... again.

So... More exploration. Firstly, this cave (down in y: 10-16) and the water comes down from the ocean. Actually, what looks like the sun, actually is the sun!

That would be horrific! Why would I do such a foul thing? Well, I might set off a few TNT blocks, wire it to some redstone and then just go nuts, but not yet! I'm building my epic railroad for the moment!

Maybe replace the water with lava and use it as a defence mechanism though?

Yea. I have to make some insane defence mechanism soon. Like, activate a dispenser that shoots eggs which will push you back onto a trip that'll push you into a concealed hole wherein lava will pour upon you.
That's the general idea.

So, here's some pictures of my cozy corner ~ and well, some other pictures as well. Including one of some thunder. It took me a while to catch that one. I'm still playing the 1.8.1, cause the pre releases doesn't always work adequately with the worlds I've already created. And I've got mad ideas for this world, I can tell ya. I've already went far underground to get some insane resources, so I can build something tremendous.
