Norton is utter bloatware. Every self-respecting computer enthusiast/administrator knows that. I used AVG for a while but it gave me BSOD's all the time (yes, I'm sure, the driver listed as the cause on BSOD's was AVG's, and this occurred on multiple PC's.) I use Avast now. It's rock-solid stable and it has fewer false positives. I would highly recommend it:

I use Norton and I'm a IT Specialist. It is fine if your computer isn't a joke running 8gb ram quad core shitty 400$ bestbuy PC doesn't bog up with it. AVG is for people who don't want to pay for anything and NOD32 is my main pc's anti virus. NOD32 is insane.
Kaspersky Lab is best I found which cover a vasts complex of virus without lagging your game like norton ( very important for hardcore player on d2 ) , but if you cant afford it then get avg just dont run any game while it scanning. _____________________
