Demon hunter advice please?

Well I got a level 48 demon hunter. Heres my issues:

1. I'm stuck in A4
2. I wanna level but dont have the fg to get runs ohmy

3. His DPS is around 3k ( I think above 3k... something like 3.2k )
4. Is rapid fire a good skill to use? I use fire support rune. Personally I love it. But other DH's use ele arrow.
5. Is 14k life too low??? eek

I'd love for you to answer/give advice to my issues. Be my tissue! briggrin

In order-

1. A4 is troublesome, but not impossible
2. Gold is always good, for gear or runs, tho early in theres not alot of farming options. Nightmare azmo is prolly best bet for your point less you want to get a buncha gold find gear and do skele king tomb runs (breaking urns)
3. Dps should be higher, quite a bit
4. Rapid fire owns, ele arrow owns more(generally) -- I use rapid fire for single targets that need burned fast, ele arrow with the shock or cold setup are crowd demolishers, as is multi-shot. Ele arrow generally out performs multi tho less the crowds are spread alot. In general, I use ele arrow tho, piercing arrow is steady enough single target dps for bosses etc
5. I found this out late.... Life is over rated for ranged. By inferno, you can build for life and still get 1shot, I was runnin around 37k with bout 40% mitigation(before guardian turret) and getting 1shot by A2 trash. So, skip hp, boost that dps out the ass. IAS, dex, crit mod, crit chance, and on hit effects are ownage.

Abuse the heck out of smokescreen w/ Lingering Fog rune ... It removes all debuffs, and prevents you from taking damage, it's ridiculous even though it was nerfed.

Basically combine that and plenty of DPS.

Well My xbows ( 2x 1 handed ) do about 150dps. What would be a good dps to have?

You can lvl yourself at nightmare kull runs.
I was 42 and above 1 k dps and i was soloing him with a sorc.
with my dh i was 44 and ~2k dps and soloed him easy.

Also if you buy slots at d2jsp it won't cost you anything but the gold won by the reward quests.

Update!

1. In hell A1 ^^
2. Using ele arrow with lightning bolt in it. (love it)
3. Decideded to fuck health and get more dps.
4. Level 52. briggrin

5. I got a new weapons and now do 12k dps. ( with sharp shooter )

I still really wanna be 60 sad

Anyone wanna like rush me or do some kinda leveling runs for me?

on d2jsp (and maybe here in diablo 3 trading section ?), people are running zoltan kull runs.
With "glitch" you get 3 x his xp in no time.
What they will ask ? A part of your game gold reward 6-7k / run (7500 reward in hell - 2500 x 3).
I'm soloing him since i'm lvl 52 but hard in hell with only ~6k dps.
