I accidentally typed in d3jsp when I was trying to type d2jsp but google spit out this site and I was wondering if it was seriously legit. I see people selling Mills for actual money.

Of course it's legit sir! However, you will want to be wary of who you trade with. Always ask around if you are unsure of a trade.

Otherwise, there are some cool people here, and you should get to know them. =)

Yeah for the most part I'm going around looking at posts and threads and I am wary beyond belief so no need to worry about that but some advice on how to wary on this site would be great.

Selling Mills for Money ... man that sounds great but it sounds a little shady. Wouldn't even know the process of doing so safely.

Here's a good process for checking if a user is legit:
- Check their previous posts(if any) to see how their trades went, and how they conduct business.
- View their reputation comments(if any) to see what other users think of them
- Watch out for any suspicious signs, like your potential trade partner telling you to do something that you think you shouldn't do, never put yourself in a position where you feel uncomfortable.
- Check their overall activity/post count/join date. If anything seems out of place, keep that in mind when trading with this user.
- If they ask you to trade upfront, and you don't think they feel trustworthy DO NOT trade with them, they can/might take your money and leave you hanging.

Ahh thanks Greg. It's great advice and most of it is common sense but I really appreciate it. Man, you're 23rd most donated. It's cool to see someone of your status on a forum like this taking time to respond to my post.

My next question is, how safe is it to use paypal to transfer money? What exactly is the process of setting this up?

You'd be surprised how many people don't check, or don't care about such little things that could affect their trade! I'm not anyone special, I just like to see the site progress a little further every day. derisive

To answer your question, I would say the usual method is to have some member of Staff/Trust on the forum use the program "Teamviewer" to watch you trade the money via paypal. They will also hold the gold of the other trader, and once they see that you have sent the money, they will give you the gold. This prevents both sides from getting scammed!

Teamviewer is a screen sharing program. It's usually used for educational purposes, or business, but it works great in our case.

You can download it here to be used in conjunction with a trade assistant: http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx

hmm sounds like the use of Xsplit with sites like Justin.tv to share live streams of gameplay.

Sort of similar, except the display is restricted to only the two people involved, allowing for greater security.

site is legit and being allowed to trade items vs cash is one perk this site has over d2jsp. most common way is paypal via gift.
just be careful who and how you trade.
