Now, for doing it as many times as you wish it only makes sense really. Say your gloves have six affixes and you don't want two of them. You refine them to redistribute those two stats. Now you have something that you absolutely love in your gloves slot. Three weeks later you find an amazing upgrade and decide to sell your refined gloves on the AH. Someone purchases them but doesn't want that fourth stat. The refine it away to have it spread out randomly into the other three stats. The original gloves are now just a three stat rare that can no longer be refined because they've been trimmed down to the minimum.
HP 6618 ( 1916), MP 4022 ( 410), Attack 404 ( 253), Accuracy 1802 ( 441) , Crit. Strike 451 ( 348), Physical Defense 1161 ( 386)... In all gold items, almost all gold lvl 30e accessories, and rank 3... good pvp char for rifts/dredgion!

Now cost is something that would need to be determined. I think it should cost both gold AND materials. Gold should be anywhere from a quarter to a half of what it would cost to make an item of equal item level. I think mats should be something like 2-6 dust of the appropriate level AND 2-6 gems. The gems should be determined by which stats you're removing. Maybe keep a cost section at the bottom of the UI that actively updates as you're selecting and deselecting boxes. |
