Personaly, even if d3 is not as i did expected it, i will continue to play it in a low, but regular time, like 3-6 hours per week.
Not like d2, about 2-8h a day, some years ago, but i'll continue to play this new game.
I don't want to selfrape my eyes with old graphics after ~ 1/2 - 2 years without play.
Also, I don't want to see back all the d2 kiddys i should have played with / against :p

My brother bought D3 and I played it when we were on vacation a few times late at night.
Sure, it's not "that bad", but I would never buy it.
So yes, I did play it before. I dislike it. Problemo? |

Most of the D3 players haven't even played D2 for years... I highly doubt they'd go back to D2 after playing D3. D2>D3 for sure, but fact is fact, no one will get D2 cause D3 was bad.
And I'd rather play in an arena based PvP. Better than little kids running around with mods and auto aim, where you can even get your body. |

Arena based to make it even more like WoW...and you like it? Diablo 3 is supposed to be DIABLO, not WoW. Blizzard ruined the very basis of Diablo by how they made D3...which is why so many people quit after playing it for not even a couple months and came right back to D2.

Can't tell if any of your attacks on D3 is srs. You never even logged into the game and you're making all these general statements about D3... In fact, I remember when you said you weren't going to play it because "it'll be like WoW."
D3 has a lot bigger population base than you know if you're going to say that the majority of them came right from D2.
What's the difference from Arena and partying up with 3 others and saying "go" before starting the duel? I'd rather have a spawn point and a timer, and official regulations, rather than having to check someone's gear before a duel, or having to trust the opponent to have integrity.
Edit: Actually I can tell that you're serious. You're vigorously trying to demote Diablo 3 right from the start, even during the Beta tests when you haven't even tried it during that time. I understand if you've gave it a try and say it's horrid, but that's not the case here. You say it's bad before it even comes out, much like the Arena based PvP you're predicting now. |
Not sure if you're serious, but d3 pvp suck.. you're forgetting we CANNOT make our builds and everything is based on how rich you are.. besides 90% of the d2 dueling community fucking sucked and that's why private realms were made.. consisting of the top duelers ( the realm is still somewhat alive and 10000000000000x funner than d3 will ever be ) and if anything they should have remade d2 EXACTLY the same maybe different quests but gameplay etc and redid the graphics ~
You're sticking up for a game that actually blows for the MANY MANY years I and many people waited for this "amazing" game to come out.. and infact get to lvl 60 they nerf everything and gets boring unless u found out glitches or stay up all night grinding gear.. same shit different game and it sux
d2 > Path of exile > d3

I'm not sticking up for the game, lol. I quit after a week coming back from vacation in the Summer. I agree, it's a horrid game. I was just criticizing Cory for his blind aggression toward D3.
