My take on this is, someone who wants to make money can sell unperms as perm and get away with it by stating the trade was complete and the item was perm.
Their statement saying it was perm can be a lie and generally it has been after the item poofs, it's been an epidemic for the past 14 years I played diablo.

In the end, it's all fraud and comes down to who can bullshit the best.

-Purchase some items for money by PayPal.
Wait a week, and buy some more items for fg off the same person.
Go open an S/A claim the item have poofed, without any solid proof - I might even repeat it multiple times. And even tho i change my story, and other stuff then it's very true, the Items did indeed poof - LOL
Reverse the payment by paypal, because of the items i purchased for forum gold poofed but i got no proof.
