Football: Mans game. Great to watch with ice cold bear and hotdog
Soccer: Girls game. Great to watch while knitting
lol jk, but Football is more glorified as an American sport, whereas soccer is played all around the world
Still there is infinatly more action in football. Also the terms are somewhat different depending on what country your in. In Brazil, they refer to football as what we know as soccer |

It's more like we call it soccer while everyone else calls it football.
Serious question: Where else in the world is American football popular? Soccer and baseball are popular everywhere but I've never heard of, say, a Japanese football team. |

oh, there is no doubt football is glorified as an American sport, but other countries still play it. Still, soccer is known and played around the world in the same fashion and to the same level of interest as our American football ^^ |

| Can't compare as they completely different games. One has 2 minute pauses for commercials between plays and overweight 400 lb guys can play it, other 1 15 minute pause. Better to compare it to rugby which makes American football look like girls sport as they all wear pads. |
