1) how do i join a clan on logged.
2) what do gems and jah runes do? how can i use them? can i sell them if so where?

i.e. Ye Olde Equipment Shop, Jewelry Shop, you can offer gems to Odin to raise favor temporarily and there's a place d3jsp Inn talk to Cedric the bar keeper for the potions I think. There's probably more you can do with them but I haven't really explored more.
Jah Runes or any type of rune you can exchange in Jezebelle's Runes in d3jsp halls. Individual ones increase either gold, experience, gems and if you combine them they increase +1 atk or + 1 def or +5 hp depending which ones you combine. If you combine all runes you become stronger. Not sure if they stay permanently meaning after you kill the dragon. You cannot combine runes more than once per dragon kill, but you can exchange as much as you want. Cap is 2 per day though.
