Blank Game List

Similar to the blank screen issue a few topics down - whenever I connect to Battle.net, it takes a few minutes for the game list to populate when I click "join". It's not a major problem, just a slight annoyance that I have to wait a few minutes to see any games on the game list. Anyone have a similar problem?

this happens to everyone, its just a bug, wait a little bit in the channel before doing anything at all(15-30 secs), then it will come back

lol that has got to be the most annoying thing about SC is waiting for the blank screen to go away.

It is not a bug.
It is not a glitch.
It is a connection issue. When you first log on, your router or modem is sending somewhat big packages to Blizzard, and returning.
Black screens usually happens also if you join a game and leave really fast. When you do that, your computer sends 2 somewhat big packages.. a join game, and a load channel package, resulting in another black screen
When you first log on, the router/modem sends Blizzard it's IP address and Blizzard then returns all the Online data... Game list being the lowest priority (I know, it's dumb).
I know all this because my uncle is a Starcraft patcher.

yea i gotta agree on that myself i hate that stupid black screen it prevents me from joining games when i want to right away.
