welll they sertantly did make it seem like an anime... the only thing different about this show and other anime is that this one's original language is english.. lol and this one has a faster pace... unlike say naruto or inuasha... they are like so slow! each episold is like 5 mins in their world... they explained it too much like a book... really frustating...

They certainly overshot the intended age range. It's complex enough for pretty much any age, really.
