1.6 for the win.
Source has better graphics, yes. There are also many improvements, but the game has a completely different engine, so it's different. It just depends on what you like- I prefer 1.6!

lol yeah, i have a hard time running it w/o lag on a geforce 7300, cuz i got 512mb of ram. great for diablo 2, but sucky for most advanced fps's

i think source is the better one.
Skill is what yoou do if you only like to play cs. 1.6 and only tryed source one time you want take it beceause its the same like all new games you have to play it often to get a skill.
And in source you have a better video quality.
So i prefere Source. |

When i first started playing 1.6, i sucked, but after a while i got a lot better. in CS:S, first time played it i had a 3:1 death ratio.

ide rathar play a game with more peoepl in 1.6 then in css.
I mainly play css for low people games.
playing on a geforce2 vid card makes it so i kinda have no choice |

Well i get no lag from 1.6 so i usually prefer that over CSS cuz it lags sometimes

| I have played CAL-IM in 1.6 and CAL-M in Source, and I really do prefer 1.6. I have since quit CS:S fully and I only play 1.6 for fun, but I still ring for CAL-O occasionally for friends |
