It means offensive, like a deragatory statement I donno how to spell. Is a statement that would offend someone or would make them feel bad about themselves. So like if I was like fuck you. That is deragatory because it is putting you down.

Pollution about spelled it out. It's something offensive. Not necessarily false, or necessarily true. It's something usually meant to hurt or injure another person.
