theres a lot less on the mac
also linux > mac
last time mac made a os they bassed it on unix
btw unix = linux in most cases |

actaully mac is 10 years ahead of windows, i was using a mac dating from 1995 and it has most of the programs windows just came out with. most film industries and etc. use mac because of the advance with film and photography the reason why most people are confused while using a mac is because its different then a pc and most people are used to using pc's, plus mac are a lil more expensive, but now a days they are worth it, but the security that a pc has is almost the same as mac now adays, personally i like pc's because thats what i grew up using, but its all in your opinion which one you like better, both have pro's and con's so its really up to you which one you like better and use that computer

only thing i would buy from mac is their laptop
cuz its way more pro then pc ones
