1st one's musical sound is pretty gg.
But the singer sounds like Edsel Dope if someone was squashing his nuts. _____________________

oh dear god, will this nu metal plague ever end? I thought it ended when Breaking Benjamin arrived - ruining the scene for awesome acts such as Deftones and alternative nu-metal bands like A Perfect Circle.
I remember listening to Cold when they came out, I think, and it wasn't that bad - but seriously, the genre is as good as dead (especially to me). I don't want to sound like a metalhead, but I believe you should find some more "balls to the walls" metal. hehe. Raining Blood forever m8s. _____________________ ONCETHEREWASALINKHEREANDNOWITISGONEYES

I've met alot of these "balls to the wall" metalheads. I listen to 90's pop music for about 1 out of ever 50 songs I listen to throughout a week. Rest are mostly metal or electronica.... most of these guys are pansy asses compared to me. Granted I'm psychotic so that makes me make most serial killers seem like girl scouts.
But yeah a lot of hc metal with what I call, "Burp Vocals" suck ass. And most of their fans are pantie waists. Not saying nu-metal fans are better or much better. Just saying that I don't need that shit to pump up my adrenaline and put me into a frenzy. Alanis Morrisette pumps me up more than Pantera.
And honestly, imo the only thing I'd call "balls-to-the-wall" metal that has gotten me pumped to come out in the last 10 years has been Hatebreed. Jamie Jasta is just sick.
As for the music, well I like to headbang and get crazy. idk maybe I just can't find a rhythm to solos and riffs that fast paced. Lyrics are what gets me off. Main reason why I chose to do vocals and write lyrics when I started a band as a teenager lol. _____________________

When it comes to lyrics, any fucking bad is more badass than a nu-metal band. It's either that they're quite sad about, err, the way, y'know, the world is nowadays, like, so much, uhm, war? man, I just ride my skateboard while I cry/I just drive around in my hummer looking at all the poor people and I think "man, somebody should help them."
I'd say Reign in Blood by Slayer contains some serious fucked up/hilarious/badass lyrics.
the d2jsp music section is filled with metalfags who believes Cannibal Corpse and Dimebag are the best things that has happened in music, in the history of best things that happened in music. It's one of the main reasons I've stopped posting there, nobody gives a crap about breakcore, mathcore or whatever I wanna talk about...
When it comes to metal though, I suggest everybody to check out The Dillinger Escape Plan's first CD and Norma Jean's first CD. That right there is some brutal shit that brings your adrenaline out and maxes it up. Fuck nu-metal, mathcore is the shit.
(balls to the walls metal is a brand I use to mention badasses in metal. Music that can be kinda bad, but still veeery funny and entertaining. Examples can be that "I wanna rock" song from the 80s and basically all the songs played on Vrock in GTA Vice City. There's an 80s metal song called Balls to the Walls and it's a fucking badass song.) _____________________ ONCETHEREWASALINKHEREANDNOWITISGONEYES
