Basically, I have posted this a few times, but here I am, doing it again so our dear Jessmop will finally know what the meaning of this uselessness is.

The core distribution of LoGD includes 2 modules. These 2 modules are:
Quote:
Jewelry Monster 1.0 Shannon Brown, based on tatmonster by Chris Vorndran Core Distribution

Quote:
Tattoo Monster 1.0 Chris Vorndran Core Distribution

So, to make this as simple as possible, the tats and the jewelery is a way to upp your chances of meeting these monsters. It is illustrated, with the tat monster, that your tattoos start burning upon encountering this beast.

The monsters usually give quite a bit of exp (can be compared to what exp the Manticore gives you) and takes exp from you when they defeat you. Don't take this the wrong way, these 2 babies are pretty badass and you'd want to be prepared when you meet them.

These two monsters are NOT activated on our server (which makes the tat and jewelries "useless" or it's like having 2 HD Television sets just for the heck of it.). Also, I could not reach our logd module list, but these two are CORE DISTRIBUTIONS - I'm pretty sure they're in our game, but not activated.

(the copy/paste I made comes from the module list over at www.dragonprime.net (our game is based on their game.. err.. yeah) )

so effectively with our server in the current configuration, all they are is a social status symbol. "im rich enough to afford all these" type deal smile

In the regular logds there's a thief called Lonstrider. This Lonestrider dude has a certain % chance to actually STEALS your jewelry ... Which is why my character on lotgd.net doesn't have any of that stuff on him. I'd rather keep my gems than invest in something that might.... get robbed.
