So, I though of an idea, and Giantbob ofc said that it is possible- The ability to buy gems for a certain amount of gold.
Here's a poll to see who wants, and who doesn't
And ofc, I wouldn't want to make the gems cheap, they have to be a tad bit more expensive so it takes longer to get.

I don't think it's a bad idea and imo, it would be a nice add when you consider what I have in mind 
I think 5k vs 1 gem seems kinda fair.

Doesn't really make the poor more poor, I mean you will still be able to get gems from everything else, just the opportunity to "buy" gems when you really need them
Besides if the price is @ least 5k gold i mean...

You will get the opportunity to sell your gems vs gold as well.
This is def a downside, considered how the gold -> fg system works out.

Farmers would get more gold than ever.
Farmers would stop farming and start DKing since you could now get even more gold than before.
Also, about gems .. I'm going to make some mounts that will cost quite a few gems - y'know, to make gems worth anything again.

Well farmers would just farm gold and exchange them for hitpoints everyday. It would give them more of a reason to stay at that rank and pile up HP. Let's say they want to PvP someone who is at a higher rank and just owns them because they have good equipment and way better HP.
You have increased the gold per fight after DKs? I know you can tell the difference if you were at a Farm rank, but my Sir gets about the same as my God at level 15.
Are mounts a one time fee? If they are, then I don't really think it makes a difference just like Pegasus now. You pay the fee and you rack up the gems again. |

I don't see anything wrong about this though.. iirc, the module requires gems to be sold for gems to be bought - if you know what I mean. You sell XX gems and shortly after, the XX gems becomes available.

I haven't increased the gold per fight, I just assumed that's how it works here 'cause my character with 90 DKs gets an outrageous amount of gold if he did nothing but forest fights.

I'm not adding one mount, I'm adding several. I just need to test them first, ^^.
Mounts can be restircted (like the pegasus - people can't see it before they did their first DK). The same could be done with several mounts. These mounts would of course be better and better and, obviously, get super expensive in the end - so saving up on gems is going to be worth it.

What's the bad part about this? I mean you could use the gems to re-stock on your dk char I mean, that's what I would do. Besides I would want to see somebody buying gems for gold rather than exchanging the gold vs fg
