THAT is an excellent idea too..
New users shouldnt have to be witness to all the negativity that the Battlefield promotes. Its bad business IMO.

BF/New years forum dont cover this , it only will make spamming worst
you tell someone they can spam in BF / newyears forum , yet say no your not allowed to spam else where ,
thats like giving a dog a bone , but saying its not ok to leave the bathroom with the bone
its not gunna work its gunna seep out !
trust me ive seen it fail else where, plus they both bring negativity to this forum .

Well anyone spamming outside of these areas will be surely warned. I generally give a verbal warn but after that if it continues then the warns really come out. I agree with you Clean but the reality is that alot liek the Battlefield. Its an epic fail in our opinions but the truth is that its prolly not going to ever get removed, we will just have to deal with it. I try to go there as little as possible but a handful of idiots here with hard ons for Mods or just me in general need a place to vent, better there than another forum I suppose but if you ask me its just the pussy way out...
It would be one thing if someone posts somethign clever but that rarely happens, I cant recall when I got a valid laugh from there. I will post there in defense of my clan/friend/myself but thats about it really.

i understand why tramway has it there , it gives posts to the site which is good an all but like i said in ur post in the BF id much rather have 5000 posts / threads that are good and have meaning the the site
then 100000 that are retarded and have no reason to be here .
post are good , but if thier stupid and not needed then why have em? just makes it look bad
but thats just my thoughts on this matter.

More or less I just think it should be "hidden" and a "priveledge" in a morbid sort of way, whether or not people have to donate to view it well idk. BUT I do think there should be somekind of post count (like 10/20/30) in play before any new user can access it.
Example:
Rando multi gets banned for making an account named "Nig*&*" (it happened last nigth actually.) Due to his ban or warn w/e he gets all pissy and goes off in the battlefield over and over.
It creates a problem since BF is supposed to be free speech, however if we put a rule inplace like users have to have 20 posts before gaining access there then that will promote activity and generate posts in other forums so they can access that special (as in special olympics) part of the site.
Does that make any sense? If not sry, its almost 6am and i have been up ALL night on this site
