Nothin' personal, folks. People do things for attention, don't we all. Personally, I make attempts to do things in a positive manner... for instance, the snot nosed, bugar eating punks that talk crap to others, putting them down, essentially, are looking for attention.. rather than do anything along those lines, I throw some humor into the mix..

I've been working with computers since I was a kid, ended up dropping out of H.S. in 9th grade.. being a punk... that was some time ago and I realized I did a lot to get 'accepted' and wanted attention. I still do things for attention and am not ashamed to admit it, nor do I care if I appear 'vulnerable' to others, as we all are, at one point or another; i'm not going to be ashamed to admit it, nor will I be, ever.

I like long walks on the beach, computers, video games, good food and beer; not necessarily in that order...

Dear Warm Weather,

It has long been since I held you in my arms. I strongly desire you to hold me in your loving arms... soon, we'll be together, lying nekkid in the grass and I 'll never forget the time we shared, behind the boat house.. when I showed you my dark secret.......

Sin Celery,
Mustikos

Hehe nice quote about the boathouse...

I wonder how many people here can remember that song...

Anyway Dave I am glad you are here bro..

Since its about 3am I can relate to your crazy post briggrin

If you dont mind I will add on a few real facts about you so others can get a grasp on who you are a bit.

I have known David for over 2 decades, yes we are old, but prefer "seasoned vets "

Dave is one of the smartest computer guys you will ever come across period. If you google the word ANTIQUES his site comes up within the top 10 which is AMAZING. At one point his site reached #1 and always hovers within the top 10 out of around 96 million ! He also owns about 30 domain names which at somepoint will make him even richer briggrin

Dave and his family are all close personal buds of mine in real life and you will not find a better buddy and someone as funny. talented, quirky and honest as Mustikos here.

Dave will also bring some quality users to this site as well which is good. He is a super gamer and will put many to shame although I learned long ago not to challenge him online gaming.

Welcome to the site bud !!!!

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm no scholar, though may be a genius derisive ... the way I see things (not always) ..

People do things for attention, as do I, in regards to my sense of humor and going back years as when I dropped out of H.S. I don't play games for attention, well maybe a tiny percent, but I do 'ask' for it when I make stupid jokes. If you guys ever played Team Fortress and are familiar with console commands, I started playing TF on Quake 1 over 10 years ago. At first I was using a gamepad and was looking for commands to set a button to 'throw grenade' so someone pointed me to the console, default, I think in Quake, is by hitting the ` key, under escape on the upper left corner of the KB. I play the newest version, which finally came out around a year and a half ago, Team Fortress 2. Love it! By default, the tilde key (same as above) is console, but you have to enable the command console through settings. Anyway, my bit of humor comes in, say you wanted to set button #4 to throw grenade, you would go to console and type something like,
bind "joy4" "+gren1"
Something like that.. well, I got the nerdiest kick out of saying, in general chat during the game,
bind "gramma" "+bedpost"
Some folks got it, others did not, but it still cracks me up.

Back to the attention aspect, I'll do something like that, obviously for attention. Nothing to be embarassed about and I'm not opposed to appearing 'vulnerable' as many people are. They're afraid to look like they don't know something, so they'll say they do, when they don't, but who cares, really? It is more important to know the truth than pretend you know something, esp. when in a dire situation. As well, people will put others down, attempting to make themselves look better and they're certainly doing that for attention. Telling them that usually shuts them right up. Specifically, playing a game and someone says crap about another played, they're jealous because of skills or something. Griefers, for example, are running around, jonesing for others to pay attention to them, like a bad dog. Dogs want attention and companionship. When a dog chews your bunny slippers and you come home, get mad, and scold the dog, you are giving it attention. Negative attention, but the keyword is 'attention'. A dog cannot necessarily disseminate bad or good attention and it will repeat the act, to get attention again, sorta like a griefer. Next time someone ranks on one of your posts or gives you crap in a game, simply say to them, "LOL. Some people do things for attention, some make others laugh, while some talk sh*t, putting that person down because they want attention. They want others to notice and think they're 'kool' or something." I actually feel sorry for those people because ignorance takes over their lives and they're living in a self absorbed world. Get over it, people. If you don't have something good to say, don't say anything. That, or, go work for some news agency and maybe you'll get your own show like Nancy (dis)Grace. Man is that woman annoying.

Just wanted to clear that up. My worms are acting up, so I think I may play TF2 for a bit.. or probably X3:TC.

Have a great day, ladies... derisive
