Finally! You made it! You go down the ladder into the hole. You are standing in a small room, about 10 feet by 10 feet. As the last of the daylight slips away, you have just enough time to see a table by the north wall with a Lantern resting upon it (which you immediately light!)

After turning on the Lantern, you see Deadmouse sitting there on a chair, giving you quite the scare!

"Thanks for finally getting that stupid grate open! Farmboy Godman locked me in here, and then hid the Golden Key in that Jewel Encrusted Egg up in the tree. That scoundrel is in for a thrashing when I get out of here! Here, you can have this as a reward for busting me out of here."

Deadmouse tells you that you don't look so good. In fact, you look almost dead!
You've gained 100 favor with Ramius!

Feeling a wee bit out of sorts, you climb up the ladder and head back to the forest. The Lantern starts to flicker wildly, so you make haste for the Village...

Stowing your Two Kamui, you offer a hand to the quivering young noble. Assisting him to his feet, he brushes off his now tattered clothes and breathes a sigh of relief.

"Though I have been defeated by a mere commoner," he says, "I accept it so with dignity."

He reaches into a pouch by his side and hands you a small, glittering gemstone.

"I would ask that you speak of this to no one, Good Sir." he adds, and staggers away.

You also gain 60 experience from this battle as well.
