There is only very few people who even use a farmer for fg, myself NOT being one of them, considering I dk on both my characters.
Just think of the new users you are screwing over by even suggesting that..
And everyone who votes yes to this should have to start over and see what it is like I KNOW they will not like it at all..
I say and will always say add Dk reqs on some magical items like the super strong ones but not all, because there are a few nice ones that are very affordable for a farmboy/farmgirl |
You don't need anything more than a woodsman's axe to get a dk, ask anyone that's played on central.
It's hardly screwing over new players, it just means the game isn't instant easy mode. | Yea, well I think the players that can get more than a "woodsman axe" should be allowed to do it..
>.> <.<
I mean look at this from there angle |
Well, first of all find me one of these hypothetical new players you're basing this argument on, I'd need to ask Giantbob, but I don't think there's more than 1-2 new players on this realm a month, so it's more important to tailor the game towards existing gamers, instead of using new ones as an excuse to keep the server on easy mode. | I am just using it as a reference..
But you always have to think of the possibilities, I mean giantbob has done alot to make our LoGd server better but I don't think putting DK requirements on EVERYTHING MAGICAL is a good idea..
I mean you can't stop the good farmers from making 100k in a game day anyways even if you took away there gear.. and you can't take away there hard earned skill points so pretty much you are going to fail to stop the farmers you are jealous of. _____________________

You're yet to come up with a good excuse as to why it's not a decent idea.
Yes, you can stop them from making 100k quite easily, I can certainly think of many ways to do it.
I imagine it wouldn't be too hard for Bob to place a hard skill point limit, something like 10 max skill points, and a limit as to how many different skills you can aquire.
Who said I was jealous? As I've said, I've not played LotGD in a while. _____________________ iamacyborg |

acturly the force dks would seem logical for that
but really why should all the items be available at 0 dks? |

Well, there was the module that forced people to fight the dragon after 2 days at lvl 15 or something.
As you can immagine (looking at the reactions of a DK restriction on overpowered items), few people wanted to have it added. =/

Ok, I am not going to be a jerkoff asshole but fletchboy you need a quick word here:
Getting items from the equipment shop = VERY EASY. + Dragon_fury hardly worked for his char. Period. He fought in the forest, didn't bother with the dragon - spent gold/gems on items and that's that.
This server is easy, and I do not think that is a bad thing. I do however think that a few alterations could be beneficial in both the future and in our current state. - These alterations include putting a DK req on most things (because REAL lotgd work is when you kill the dragon/start over/kill him again/start over/eternity). Nobody, and I repeat, NOBODY should be able to wield a Two Kamui before their 10th or 15th DK. And let me explain why (just really fast):
The magical weap/armors in the equipment shop works like this: You get the base att/def that is displayed on the item (Two Kamui has 15 iirc) and then for each time you level up, the weapon provides yr attack with a +1. This, when added to the +1 you obtain each time you level up, means that the weapon ends up being TWICE as strong as the normal weapons that you find at MightyE's Weaponry. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE at ZERO DKs. If you are inable to see this - it is good that I am the admin and you are not .
/Giantbob out/
And Veil, iirc tram thinks a bit like me, but is also happy that people are playing his game / using his forum. We are trying to work out some sort of way to earn fg on DKs. _____________________ ONCETHEREWASALINKHEREANDNOWITISGONEYES

We should also look at this whole aspect as a mean of getting fg
Ok everyone knows- LOGD is an efficient way of making fg right? Right.
Take away the easy ability to make fg? Well, there's going to be even less people with little to no fg.
I think why Tram would allow the farmers in the first place was that he wanted people to get fg by other means than just d2 or w/e. I mean think of it. Fg is actually created from the game? Is it a bad thing though? I would say no, since there's already little fg in circulation neways. I mean
Hope that isn't off topic or anything T.T
I would HOWEVER be open (very much inclined indeed) if there was a way how to replace this "farming" for another way how to make fg off of LOGD- having the ability to get fg per dk or some sort would work perfectly and nobody would have any problem _____________________

That is a very good point, megafusion. But getting like 10 DKs to farm FG wouldn't hurt anything, if you ask me. _____________________ ONCETHEREWASALINKHEREANDNOWITISGONEYES

(honest tip)
Work - buy knowledge - kill kill kill - buy experience - be level 5 - do DK in 3-4 game days.
This thread has gone waayyyy outta hand though. Movving it to the lotgd section instead of the suggestion section.

Buy knowledge? | I think it's weapons you unlock
I honestly after reading all this am done trying to argue for anything to stay how it is, and will now just go with the flow
I think it will be better this way..
Btw Giantfizzle make it more like central I guess but don't make it ALOT like central if that makes sense XD
I am just tired of arguing over stupid things with people lmao.. _____________________

And lulz, I am not making it more like central - that would be quite stupid since there's already ---- central. I am just making it more balanced . _____________________ ONCETHEREWASALINKHEREANDNOWITISGONEYES

I think it is retarded that you lose your gear after killing the dragon.
I mean it is like saying, ok if you kill Baal in d2 then you will lose all your gear and start over.
The people worked hard for their items that they got so let them keep it, just put lvl requirements on them. _____________________

Fucking the game up?
He's making it better you dumb twat.
The bullshit here is you don't know when to shut the fuck up and stop complaining.
You have so many use points you wouldn't even need any armor, or weapons.
You're lucky it isn't like central here, were you get nearly half of the turns, no insane weapons, and game days are double+ the hours here.
I like the idea. |

Lulz, horrible idea.
You're SUPPOSED to "start over" in this game.
