|
|
so here is my exercise, i already won a price for it, since some german pupil have to solve this problem ^^
u have two places
place A with 3000 peanuts
place B with 0 peanuts
the distance between place A and B is 1000miles
there is one elephant that can carry up to 1000 peanuts at once
for each mile the elephant walks, he eats 1 peanut (doesnt matter which direction)
the elephant cant travel without peanuts
the elephant can unload the peanuts in any place between A and B
the elephant can unload any number of peanuts between 1 and 1000
so here is my question, how many peanuts can he deliver to place B?
good luck and i hope u enjoy this math problem hehe |
