Ye, did you hear about the banner they giving out to peoples attending the runefest event? I mean, one moment they say financial or real life status shouldn't dictate the items you have ingame, next moment they give anyway for going to the runefest @ 75 pounds. A cosmetic side gift, but still.

Its not a usable item, and you get it for attending, not paying, paying is a side affect of attending.

We can all reminisce about how good RuneScape used to be, but the fact still stands that we wouldn't have RuneScape if it didn't change.

If RuneScape wasn't changed to where real life trading couldn't happen, there would be no RuneScape.
