Chinese people , how do they express them?

So I've heard from my teacher , that Chinese people express themselves somehow different ,when you invite them to your house and you cook for them.

It's like if they are done , and you ask them if they want more food, they just say no , becuase they are polite, but if you ask them once more , they will say , well okay thanks.

I mean if you don't ask them for the second time , they feel like insulted?

Its just somehow weird in my opinion, but its their culture or like that smile

Am I right?

As far as I remember they really will left some food for being polite

If you are going to invite a chinese people just treat him as everybody. They will now that it is normal here
