Alright, so after being alcohol-free for 2 months already, I'm going to quit smoking too. Since yesterday. And I noticed, it's alot fucking harder than no drinking, seriously. I feel kinda dead inside now. And that all because my gf wanted to, damnit. Actually she's right, but this shit still sucks. Any other successfully quit smoking here? Iso stories!

Mission failed, I really couldn't resist it. At half, I put the motherfucker out on my arm and started crying out loud.

quit for 2 months, got cocky and thought i could have one occassionally

occassionally turned into one a day

one a day turned into 2 a day (one when i woke up and one after a meal)

then that turned into 5 a day (smoked 1 during each of my breaks at work + 1 wake up + 1 after meal)

then got drunk and smoked 2 packs in one night and im up to half a pack to a pack a day......

i failed... best method for quitting..... Diablo 2 ladder.. start from nothing and makes characters untill you dont crave as much, another good option would be first person shooters... anything where you get to kill stuff works... need to get out that aggression or you may explode on someone you like lol

good luck smile

Mate you shouldnt just stop from one day to the other imo..
Just strart by reducing your cigarettes/day.

You may smoke 6-7today.
But in 1 week time start to smoke only 4.
in 2 weeks 2-3
in 4 weeks 1-2.
Then stop it completely imo..
Never smoked/probably never will ;-)

Well my drinking was a much bigger problem actually. But yeah a beer/vodka sometimes, no problem. I should do reducing thought about that, but I was like ALRIGHT FUCKERS NOW IT'S OVER. I want some challenge or something. So yeah, now yet another 24 hours no cig. Going for 48 ofc and so forth.

After I almost lost my job recently because of my alcohol problem. I wasn't an excessive drinker or something but just couldn't resist to sneak in and drink some of the beer/booze at my work from time to time. And yeah I'm a technician at a big hotel in summer, so.

So it wasn't a self control or addiction problem.

It is very hard for me to cut my drinking addictions but no matter how much I smoke, when i want to quit, I would.
I have couple of friends who would smoke cigarettes like every 10 minutes...They would get withdrawls without their cigarettes
