I weigh it like this:
A group of staff members who commit to mediations
or
An entire subforum for requests.
Seems more work than is necessary. If any thing a sub-level staff group of trusted members, like my suggestion for M++ .
So a no from me.

You wanted a why to my no, and that is it.
This is like putting diesel in a compact. It just isn't necessary and it will hurt more than help.
A new sub-forum will not compensate for lack of commitment by any of us.
I know I don't mediate, I never have. You need to realize it takes more than mediation and other things to be a good mod and some day you might get somewhere.
