Should I play money maps? Will those help me get better faster?

If you're trying to be pro... (normal maps/pro maps) No.
If you're trying to be a money map master... Yes.

I'll say it depends very much on your playing style. Money maps can be fun, but personally I think its not as challenging because its all down to who can build and spam faster units/upgrades than the other; instead of strategy. It can be a good way to test new strategies, though.
