ok so i have a router hooked up and me and my pops cant play with another person on bnet, we get horrible lag, anyone kno why?

maybe try this http://www.d3jsp.org/viewtopic.php?p=26166&highlight=#26166 or change the reg key to make it use different ports

you have to open ports and all that and do somethings..just google it.

TRUST ME ive googled this to hell.

even went and paid for the epxertexchange site to help, no luck there either tongue

woo hoo. bought a new router and did a registry edit and it works GREAT now

I did two things to get it working:
1. Go to Windows Firewall and configure the settings(ex. Allow Starcraft to pass through)
2. I accessed my router(need username and password), then directed inbound ports to my computer....

yea it was 4 years old, i also set up a registry key thing so that my comp was 6114 and my dads is 6115, and set it up on the router for that and it worked
