i am curious to know the actuall release date of starcraft 2.

i a hearing january 08 and october 08 but dont know what to believe.if any one has any insights on the release date could u plz let me know

Let me see if I can get fairly close to it. Right now they are just getting into the beta stage and are hosting a wide array of private beta tests to balance things out or add new units. The problem is that they still haven't done much to the original zerg units, which might take another 2-3 months. Storyline also needs to be developed.

The only time constraint Blizzard has is to release it before the christmas shopping spree, and being the perfectionists they are, they will most likely release it then.
