ya its like a normal fantasy novel but you will catch random glimpses from diablo. For example one of the first books is about a warrior/sorcerer named bartuc whom killed so many that his armor was stained red. Well his armor was hidden from the world when he was slain. Someone finds it and puts it on and bartucs power begins to use him as a puppet. blah blah blah, he finds horizon (aka arcane sanctuary) bartucs brother... find the rest out yourself
P.S. they are available on torrent sites... in fact all of the blizzard books are compiled into a single torrent on a certain website. I read them all except some of the starcraft ones. All in all a decent read _____________________

true lmao, i got the first one when i was like 12 and still really into diablo. Then i was stuck at a house sitting job without internet, phone, or transportation so i downloaded the others when i had the interwebs and read through them to pass the time. _____________________
