I swear if d2jsp didnt have members++ on there no one would give a fuck about this proposed name change. All anyone here can say is that its not the same even tho thats exactly what it appears to be. Change the name to ANYTHING, vote on it whatever... Members++ is a fail so just fix it.

I think that sounds a lot more trusted than Members ++.

well i'm sure with the brilliant minds that exist here we can some up with a fair name. i think the vast majority of users paid fg/money for their tags though.
personally i think VIP would be fine. though logically it might rank higher than m++, it won't because VIP doesn't mean anything on d2jsp. people will be slightly more hesitant to rank it so highly without doing a little bit of research, reseach that doesn't happen with the current M++ tag

that is NOT enough of a deterant imo. i cant figure out for the life of me why anyone would be so opposed to a name change? you wouldnt lose any privelges so.... the only reasons i can think of are:
1) Easier to Scam
2) Wanting to look like a d2jsp trusted clone
3) Not caring if others get ripped off due to bad title labeling
How about everyone think of all the people that get ripped off and scammed due to this horrible "stolen title name". you guys wanna be so different from d2jsp then why not start with something basic that helps new users ???? Seriously theres a shit ton of better names then members++ available, why not think of something that works for everyone ?

Just rename the group to Premium . Change the look of the image to not match the others. Make it rectangle or just words premium with stars on both sides. Something.

I can guarantee you that 95% of d2jsp know what M++ is the majority of folks who come here are from d2jsp. I would love to know a single person who has come here without first gone to d2jsp, I think that occurrence would be very rare.
The issue is not with the presence of a tag at all, it is the name that's the issue. VIP is something unique (something I thought this site claimed to be for starters) with know predetermined e-semantic value. As is Prestige, Platinum, Valued, Premium and a bunch of others that have been suggested. I would be for ANY other name but the one that is the status quo. |
