I have holy fire or w/e the aura is maxed + res fire maxed, working on salvation which is half way there. What is the other skill I need?

I suggest making a pure fire build as main aura max out conviction and get fire auras from dragon arm/shield/ and hand of justice that way you got 3 X like lvl 15+ holy fire and have a conviction aura maxed to realy hurt there resist hope that help in some way

Use a paladin, I have no clue what so ever why but they seem to work most of the time . . .
