I think until Diablo 3 is released you should get forumgold for posting.
Once Diablo 3 is out, the community will increase a lot, and we can either 1-lower the rates to .1fg per post, or make no forumgold at all for posting.
By the time D3 is released, everyone who was already a member will have plenty of forum gold, and the new people will have to trade D2 or D3 items or donate to get forumgold.

I think that posting with the opportunity of fg gives people more of a motive to be active & post. |
Motive of what? Spamming and continue'ing to get free fg, while others are actually selling their items that they worked hard for. |
Since this is a smaller community, i don't think spamming is tolerated as much.
Making your posts have to have some sort of meaning.
And the motive to use this site over d2jsp. |
The motive for using this site by me is driven by better mods and meds and members.
There will be less scams and fraudulent activity cause the other sites have softcore mods.
I don't feel they are softcore mods here. |

Ya I agree with the cap @ 50fg.
What if there was a system for paying people to report spam. Problem solved.
Oh and being warned for spam should = Fg deduction. Nothing major, just a couple fg so they get the message.

You know, this is coming very close to being spam
Also, I think this is the right idea. At the moment, our community doesn't have enough members why a lot of fg to afford not to give fg per post. Plus, the amount is minute compared to what you need to actually buy good items (except if you spam - which shouldn't be allowed). A perfect example is the Guild Wars section... It's sad that I'm the only one posting there >.>
