i found this website with a bunch of links to other websites that give out free things such as random cheap t shirts and stickers and posters. like the kind of stuff that a bank would give you as a thanks for taking a tour. nothing to special.

i am tempted go to town on these and ONLY the ones that require no card information whatsoever and just the address and email. while i do know they will spam the shit out of me i am using an email i dont care about and i am only living in a dorm at this address(the one i would use) for one more month so i dont believe i will have to worry about mail spam.

Good idea or No?

as long as u don't give out any personal information (age, actual name, any card info at all, etc) i don't see how there would be risk...

but don't underestimate the internet

oh i'm not surprised then. the CDC recently got in trouble for requesting extra funds for consumer protection and they were supposed to setup a branch that went to hospitals and such but that failed completely because the head of that program was arrested for some reason. if they don't spend the rest of their funds they won't get as much the next fiscal year so i'm not surprised in the slightest if they are losing massive money on this just so they can use up their money.
