Get paid for referring new members?!

I think it would be great for each member to be paid say 10fg for each new member they recruit to the site. Maybe give each member a unique 4 digit code that they could give to people in game. That way when they sign up the referring member gets credit. Since the site traffic would be dual purpose, ie creating traffic for the site, and the members need for more traders and more thus more trades, maybe split the cost 50/50. Half coming from the site, and the other half from donated fg/items. Maybe another emblem for people that have donated a certain amount. There could be a site trade thread where the items are listed at decent prices so they would sell quickly. This would in turn also give people another source to find stuff they need right then as I'm sure a myriad of things would be donated.

If this is at all possible Tram I would really like to look into it. I can help if you need, just lmk

Seems like a good idea, one suggestion tho if it does happen to get approved..

Before getting the referral fee the new user would have to make 10 posts or something that way they can at least get the feel for the site and are not just fly by nighters etc..

Or simply boost the offer up to 100 fg per active member.
Active members send a code to ONE selected mod the first day they join, and a month after.

Both referrer and referee get 100 fg if the member has been reasonably active.

It's for referring an active contributing member to the website... not just someone passing through though.
