I was actually saying that, while he has nothing to do with amazing rap - I find him extremely entertaining. That and, well, his hits aren't hits for nothing. His stuff is super well produced - whether you like it or not is a complete different matter. That's what I think.
Roots > any day. Tribe > any day. most 80ies/90ies rap >>>>. Yet Lil Wayne still works. You see where I'm getting at? That and he's got a cool "I don't give a fuck" attitude.

The whole "I'm the best rapper alive" thing he has goin on brings him down in my eyes. To say that is just ignorant.
And his voice is stratchy as hell.
