See, you are an idiot, d2bs and related scripts is under a GNU PUBLIC license, any scripts or modifications made to it are not proprietary and is opensource.
That means that scripts cannot be licensed nor are they bound to any copy rights.
Second of all, if you saw the post date of my posts, you would notice that they were posted weeks before all the imitations began to be sold.
Third of all, if you wanted proof, you shouldve msged me for it not closed my topic.
Now, i understand that being 6'3 270, the rate at which oxygenated blood enters your brain is limited accordingly inhibiting your mental capacity, but thats no excuse for not knowing the definition between proprietary and non proprietary software. |
Actually, you see, d2bs ITSELF is released under a GNU Public license, scripts themselves can be taken ownership of and can be distributed at the creators discretion. The same thing goes for d2nt scripts, you see plenty of private scripts floating around for a very good reason, its the owners decision whether they release it or not, and are not bound by any contract that says they have to release it / release it for free. If the owner of the scripts wanted it to be spread around for free he would have said / done so.
There are plenty of opensource games and programs that have paid addons, and by the argument you're making, you're making it seem as though requesting payment / request of release of any handwritten code is against the rules of the public GNU.

Well, you see it is no longer called d2nt anymore, Bottronics renamed and reworked various things (although no one knows what except them), and as far as I remember is not released under the GNU license nor is the source available. So if you would like to play the game of douche-baggery (yeh I said it, wanna fight about it?) I'll do something very similar to what bottronics did, and give said bot to Mckeone so he can release his scripts without assholes like yourself to worry about.
Now please, go QQ and steal more of other people's work. |
renaiming an exe file doesnt make it a new program, i cant take word and call it dkingword and now i just created a new word processing software, u no nothing about bottronics, they use base d2nt only modifications are the stuff they stole form etalbot's code
once again, d2nt/d2bs core are not proprietary and can never be proprietary based on the GNU, scripts are converted using mozilla spidermonkey to c++ to work with the core
mozilla spidermonkey is also opensource and non propeitary

Are you dumb? When I say rename / rework some things I meant recoding it, I'm a fuckin programmer, not a petty 'e-tard' like some other people on this forum. Apparently if you can't tell that I'm a programmer just based on seeing my signature please gtfo this forum  . I was not talking about renaming the executable ^^ |
