Odayum. Well, 2400 meters is 2.4km so let's say like 8-9 minutes?

Friend joined the army and said he has to run 2400 meters in 10 minutes and I couldn't figure out if that was good or bad because in junior high/high school in gym everyone was required to run 1600 meters during physical testing and most people did it in like 6-9 minutes.

Idk how much their equipment weighs but I guess a decent amount if they give them all that extra time.

i have a friend in the army and they have them wear 50 pound vests to mimic the effects of actual gear and they're required to run 8:30 miles, so yeah they give you quite a bit of extra time for the added weight.

but running with that weight is definitely a game changer, i ran those 15 pound ankle weights (15 pounds total, 7.5 pounds each ankle) and 10 pound forearm weights and you really feel the effects of the added weight after a couple miles
