Yeah, the ASVAB is a test for retards, literally. When I joined you only needed like a 39 or some shit to get in. I scored a 96 my first time, then I retook them and scored a 99. They tried offering me computer jobs/SF/etc. but I turned them down to be a 19D Cavalry Scout which is Infantry/Recon related. Figured I'm signing up to kill shit, so I may as well do it. What we do is, kill mother fuckers and break their shit  |

yeah the asvab was shit, its like... if you have 3 apples, and you give someone 2 how many do you have? 
are you gonna try to be career or just one enlistment period?

Just one enlistment. With the National Guard, you're stuck in the state you enlist in for 6 years pretty much. (Contract is 6 years, then 2 years reserves but you don't do shit) I just can't deal with all the bullshit for 20 years. I'm a free roam kind of guy, so being bossed around constantly pisses me the fuck off. I've been in for 3 years, still another 3 to go. Have a deployment coming up in January 2012 to Iraq, then another to Afghanistan June 2013. So when I'm done with those, I can ETS in September 2014!  |
