I think we should change the s+t forum.
To prevent mass scams in here, i should think making a few rules would make it a nicer place.
Imagine this ~
S+T Forum
To be able to post in this sub-forum you need the following ~
500+ Posts
Atleast 10 Rep's
No more than 10% Warning
No scammer / banned tag
Post what you think guys _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |

if this were the battlefield i'd call you an idiot, but since it is not, i'll simply call your ideas idiotic.
warns have nothing to do with trustworthiness, neither do posts, neither do reps.
I find it funny that you are suggesting this considering you don't meet a single one of those requirements and over 60 of your posts are in selling and trading. _____________________

I agree with Ye.
It doesn't matter how many Reps/Posts/Warns you have, you're a trustworthy person if seem fit in this society.
If you're not, then simply ignore trading with suspicious users...it's that simple.
A monkey could identify something wrong in a users presentation, it's really not hard guy. |

I think it would be good if the scammers had to spend either money or time before they were able to trade there. Now they scam, get locked, create a new acc and scam again etc.
Sure, most of them are easy to detect, but everyone can be a potential scammer if the stakes are high enough. |

Sure, most of them are easy to detect, but everyone can be a potential scammer if the stakes are high enough. | everyone IS a potential scammer when the stakes are high enough. that's why you trade smart. take enough screenshots to have absolute proof that you held up your end of the trade, so if they charge back on paypal, paypal sides with you. _____________________

as far as I know paypal doesn't advocate trading with virtual items. And they almost always side with the buyer (since they dont hold screenshots very high)...
Anyway, what I'm saying is... it's too easy for scammers to create new accs and start trading right away. Don't exactly have any super ideas how to prevent it...but still |

Anyway, what I'm saying is... it's too easy for scammers to create new accs and start trading right away. Don't exactly have any super ideas how to prevent it...but still | My first trade on this site I was scammed for something like $45 over paypal.
I provided absolutely no proof and he sent it as a gift, so he should have won the dispute with no problem, but after a week or so, I did.
90% of scammers aren't sophisticated and don't think long term. They scam small, make a new account without a proxy and/or changing ip, and if a high staff member is on, they get banned almost immediately.
If you trade with an account that was created in the last ~12 hours and give first or don't get enough proof and it turns out they were a multi, that's on you for being a stupid. _____________________
