Norton is utter bloatware. Every self-respecting computer enthusiast/administrator knows that. I used AVG for a while but it gave me BSOD's all the time (yes, I'm sure, the driver listed as the cause on BSOD's was AVG's, and this occurred on multiple PC's.) I use Avast now. It's rock-solid stable and it has fewer false positives. I would highly recommend it:

wrong.
these are completely amateur to bitdefender 2010.
im a programmer, and would use nothing but bitdefender.
BY FAR bitdefender 2010 total security is the best.
has gaming mode too!
features:
antivirus
vulnerability check
antiphishing
im encryption
firewall
automatic update
antispam
identity control
parental control
file encryption
laptop mode detection
scan activity bar
outbreak control
game mode
virus bank
its basically AVG + ccleaner + Spybot all in one, but looped up on drugs.
if you adore avg, youll die for this program
if anyone wants a key i have one for 13643 remaining days |
agreed.

I honestly think the membership version if Avast! is the best, the free version is okay, but not even kaspersky is on the same level as the pay to use version... _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |

I use ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4
I have tried all the ones listed above and on previous pages.
ESET > all of them.

If you are looking for a corporate antivirus, which is always heavy, so it will be Norton.
And if you are looking for a home antivirus, which is almost lite, it will be DrWeb.
The Kaspersky one is the freezing machine ) _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |
