Even if he is a scammer I don't think it is appropriate for you to post his real name.
Also, if you know so much about him why dont you attempt to press legal charges locally it shouldnt be hard.
I'm a little let down by the fact that nick allowed his personal, real, full name to remain as your topic title.
It wouldnt be hard for people to find and herass him in his real life, as well as his family.
Title/ any posts giving his personal information should be changed, IMO.

if you had full support of the staff in testifying or submitting statements/letters describing the theft, and contacted their local jurisdiction unstead of yours then it shouldnt be a problem really.
As a matter of fact the fact that it is a computer crime might even make it worse than regular theft.
Also fraud.
