Point Break may very well be one of the worse action flicks of all time.

...wow...sorry, speechless at first when i heard this.

I guess it's a direct attempt to COME AT ME BRO since i locked your newb ass friend Satan.

umad.jpg?

my first comment was comment was going to be, when was the last time you actually got laid with a woman, but i decided to re-iterate.
Dude, don't get me wrong, Point Break had its moments ~ but Gary Busey had every one of them.
The movie had more plot holes than...... Any movie past 1995 that feature Nicolas Cage as 1st billed actor. Why is it such a small strike team that go up against "supposedly Swayze's Gang"? Why does the quite weirdly punk-ish/metal-ish dudes who reside in before mentioned location, have giant guns ready to blow the FOUR cops to bits? Why can't the FBI do their job properly? Why is Johnny Utah the WORST undercover cop in the history of undercover cops? And why doesn't Patrick Swayze dance?
Don't get me wrong, the movie is pretty high up on my "favourite bad action flicks" list. But damnnn... Has some stupid moments. I can't beleive Kathrynn Bigolow was able to win an oscar after having made Point Break...

e: I'm mad? From where do you derive such a thing?

question 1)
Utah kept it secret from the rest of the fbi besides his partner because he had feelings for bodhi
question 2) they sold crystal meth, they can afford guns like that.
question 3) i don't know...uh, why did every scandal in U.S. History happen?
How long is a piece of String?
Why can't they properly do their job now?
question 4) Because he is The One.
question 5) because Patrick Swayze doesn't have to dance.

Point Break had loopholes,plotholes,whatever...the idea was great though and for it's time frame, there wasn't much better.

just my 2 pennies.
Are you saying that there was no better movies in and around 1991? Because then I may have to pretend I'll come over there and punch you in the mouth. Just pretend. So my e-thugness can rise by 50%.

i didn't know you had any thug in you...
e-thug would be an improvement wouldn't it?

but no, i'm not saying there were no better movies, just that it was a popular film and answering all of your questions.
Utah kept it a secret.
Why then let the other two FBI guys in on it? They thought the bank robbers would be there. Nay, they were certain of it: Why then, I ask, didn't they bring more dudes with them? Why go as 4 dudes, to catch the most feared bank robbers in the film!, when they could go as more. It's not very cop-like and the whole action sequence becomes kinda stupid (Except for Gary Busey and that naked chick)
Selling crystal meth makes you rich.
Their guns were too fucked up. Would be believable if they had a few pistols and technically wanted to ESCAPE instead of killing cops. I don't believe it.
FBI is stupid.
The FBI is immensely stupid in this film ~ and not in the awesome Die Hard way. These guys are supposed to be smart dudes who're too cool to be in the police corps ~ instead, we get some weird ass douche dudes who can't figure out who them bank robbers are without having to go undercover as surfers (which Utah is horrible at)
The one.
The first Matrix was awesome. Rest is meh.
And.... Patrick Swayze has to dance...

I just remembered that John c McGinley is in this flick. So, technically, there's two good things about this movie (almost three). Gary Busey, John C McGinley and.. well.. Patrick Swayze.

i am not arguing point break any further with someone who can't surf, become a federal agent , or dance.

Giantbob used movie knowledge.
It's super effective!
hydrokog fainted.

Hey, can we argue about Die Hard or Under Siege? Or do we have to be cops, terrorists, Tommy Lee Jones, sailors, submarineers, strippers, women, martial artists, cooks or any combination before being able to talk about it?

Well, with what you offer, my retorts can only be accordingly. If you'd step up your game, I'd probably have more to go with.

Was Something About Mary directed by Ben Stiller? The star of that film is the bad guy, what's his name.. Matt Dillon. He's also in that movie where he fucks Denise Richards.
