To be able to trade for real money a certain post count not to high or low.
Would stop people just coming in and placing a trade scamming then getting the fuck out.
If they have to dedicate 100 posts or so it will harden the effort to just make a acc scam and leave.
After they took 100$ from some poor kid. |

I think it would be a good idea. To simplify it, maybe, you could have it set by groups. So when you join, your member group is like
Group: Pre-member (or something fancier...)
Which would be a group where you are limited from certain parts of the forum. Mainly s/t ofc.
Then when you have made about 50 or whatever posts you move into the group
Group: Members
Which gives you full access to the entire forum.

Pretty good idea. Mods would have to be on their toes and so would other members who would have to report kids just posting mindless garbage in an effort to get their post count up so they could get s/t access.

That'd be great to.
Make the forum a "privledge", but instead of paying for it such as d2jsp's irl trading forum, you just have to be a well behaved user.
ALSO: I think it'd be a good idea to take the forum away from users above 30% warn. Make the forum even more safe..
If these ideas aren't approved I'm going to be really disappointed, because this would help A LOT.

But it might lower traffic, because some people just come on here and there for S/T.
If it's private and you have to get accepted it will be unknown to the new comers eventually.
It would get the people here who don't sign on much or only to s/t then leave to post more.
Show the forum but don't let people 100 posts be able to post in it.

Even 10%, it's not hard to stay warn-free here. Just need to obey the rules and not cut any corners.

I think the forum should appear on the index, but you can't access it. (such as the link appears to the donor forum before you have access, though you can't view posts.) so users know the forum is there.
and update the forum description to say somethiing about "100 posts required to view forum"

You have to realize that S/T is the most active forum on this site - restricting it too much is not in our interest. However, a 50 post cap before you can post there (or 100) where you automatically enter a group that let's you post there is probably more likely to happen.

Or set it so someone has to approve you to the money-trading-able group. Like a moderator or something. That way there'd be no way to spam your way in.

I dont think this would help in preventing scamming at all. If you look at most of the scammer cases, none of them have less than 50 posts. Who would give first to a new users anyways? Unless you actually want to get scammed

I feel like it would discourage lazy scammers, at the very least.
