Due to recent change an idea come to my mind.
instead of choosing random peeps ( nothing against ref) i guess Forum Helper Staff should be choosen by the member of d3jsp.
Here's the suggestion. SM,M,JM would pick 10 ACTIVE MEMBERS then create a poll with their name and let it up for 1month so member will be able to vote. After it the 3 with the most vote would be our staff for forum helper.
No offense but choosing Greg ( Never heard of him since i joined ) And Yannick (Total Random) was totally stupid.

Yannick is more of a test subject.
And how do you know it was a stupid idea who we chose? You haven't seen what they've been doing in the private forums, and they have both been doing a great amount of work.
You should all definitely wait for at least a day before you come to any conclusion.
To me it just sounds like you all are being self-righteous.
And to your suggestion:
A vote isn't going to change anything.
If the owner doesn't want someone there, that guy isn't going to be there.
Just because members voted for someone, doesn't mean that he/she will be best.
Give us a good reason for why someone should be added and it'll be considered. An official poll/vote thread is useless when you can suggest someone at any time.
You can make suggestions by posting them. That doesn't mean we'll agree with who you think is deserving.
Just one more thing: Attitude > everything

It doesn't matter what they do behind closed doors to your members, what don't you get? 
They see your Staff do jack shit in public, so what do you want them to think/say?

I agree this would be a better way to promote forum helpers, not some rand noobs nobody trusts lol. I'd take Cory as a med over Yankik/Greg anyday

The thing is i would not even let them mediate a trade for 5$ to me
I would rater give 200$ to cory/Satan/Robert to mediate instead of 5$ to greg or Yannick.
To us (Member) They do not look trustworthy at all

Imo they are just stupid. Ive been new one day and never get scammed on anything. Promoting random people will lead to another epic website rollback. All i want you to know if they do not seems trustworthy at all to my eyes and many ACTIVE usesr. Promoting user to avoid people been scamm is a good idea but you( Whoever choose them) should have pick better member than this

You guys don't get it one bit.
YOUR USERS WANT MEMBERS THEY'VE DEALT WITH/KNOW PERSONALLY/TRUST.
Not some random guy who does everything "Perfectly" after one week. Get that point they're trying to make to you before criticizing THEIR opinions on the situation.
The MEMBERS opinion matters most, not you or any other Staff member. |
