That is true, but I wasn't saying that. I just hate the ignorant people that think quantitity > quality. Let me put it into these terms: Sex: Good vagina is better than nasty old crusty vagina 10 times a day. Ok maybe most of you wont understand that, let me put it into easier terms.

There is no ignorance in the belief that quantity > quality. In fact, when you quantity, then quality members are often attracted to the site.. generally speaking.

It wasn't just about you. It's about all the people that come here and say this site sucks because we have less members, yeah it's true we have less members. But if you look at it, do the math how many members are on a lot. A lot of us our, probably 30-50 of us, now look at D2JSP's users. "We have 409,650 registered members" of those I've made like 10 multis, 1/2 the members probably dont even use the site anymore. About another hm, 25-50k are multis or banned/locked. So do the math 150k users that are not locked or in use, but if you look at some of these people id say maybe 75k maybe dont even come on that much. So they got 75k active as in about 2 weeks or less since last login. so 75k compared to us 5.5k total, but look at their total registered. 410k, I mean come on, so 18.3% of their users still use their account? Ours is a hell of a lot higher man. We are just newer and getting out there.

Keep in mind that site has been around for 6 years.
This one isn't even at 2 years yet.
Of course most of them have quit.
Nobody wants to stay on a forum for 6 years.
Also, 50 out of 5000 is a lot less then 18.3%.
Think a little more behind what you're posting. |

Okay, great this site has a higher concentration of active users, yet it won't scratch the amount of content d2jsp has for a long, long time.

Keep in mind that site has been around for 6 years.
This one isn't even at 2 years yet.

Nobody wants to stay on a forum for 6 years.
Also, 50 out of 5000 is a lot less then 18.3%.

50 of 5000 are on like everyday a lot of the day, if you look at the member list you'll notice that id say maybe 20-35% have been on in last 2 weeks.
Edit: Plus the fact I was here for the 3000 member day and i only registered less than a year ago and when I joined we had like 1 post a week and it was usually from Tramway. So I'd say we have made our activity like 1000 times what it used to be when I joined. So apparently we are doing hell of a lot to make the site better.

I think you missed the part where I stated how much older d2jsp is.
You can't use % of members online as an argument. |
