when you say pc company, you mean builder right? not OS maker or which? anyway im gonna take it as builder, i have 2:

Dell: great customer support and great deals. and pretty decent customizability, even with a complete customizing computer support, but you have to call to make a completely custom computer that isnt in their main product line. Alienware does it too i think, but they charge a lot for that job.

e-Machines: great and low prices, terrible customer support, hardware is hardware, e-machines doesnt make the hardware, intel or amd makes the cpu, someone makes the video or if its onboard, its an emulated version by intel or someone, computer parts are computer parts, people say e-machines suck, but really its all in how you percieve it. My buddy says the same thing, and he also said they are prone to viruses...and i thought..well what do you do, he basically warez and has a low knowledge of computers and the sort so go figure.

also for OS's, well i have 3 now:
DOS: super simple
Windows XP SP2 and 3: simple and intuitive and tons better than vista and not really like a nagging mother or a son or daughter that is a germaphobe and always asking you is this clean, it feels dirty, are you sure...etc.
Mac OSX: Best for most multimedia apps, games arent MM apps. and really thats about it, nothing else.

Im forced now to use vista because everything is made for vista now and if i re-build the PC's in my house, vista will have to be used to work with most of the hardware without many problems.
