Cool so I am going to phone my ISP finally and ask to change my whole ip address. I had a d2jsp account recently(a 09 one) which I used via proxy and nfag disabled it after 6-7 days. I guess there is no chance for me to use d2jsp except changing to a brand new ip. So what should I say to my ISP?
'Umm hello I'd like to change my ip'?
They would ask why?
I don't want to make myself a total idiot saying oh cuz I got banned from a forum.... I also can't say because somebody else uses my ip cuz they would ask how did I recognized it etc...
What the heck should I say.... why do I want to have a new ip? Anybody suggest me a not too silly reason plz.
And at last, is this even possible to ask my ISP for a new ip? :'D
honestly not very nice. But anyways. I called my and said.
Yes, Hello. My name is Mike.
Hi mike how can I help you today?
Well I just recently heard from my friend that he has something called a dynamic Ip and he said he thinks I have static. I was wondering if you could tell me for sure which I have and what is the difference. My friend told me dynamic is better for some reason.
Guy will ask questions about your router. blah blah. like brand n shit.
Alright mike?
ya?
you already do have dynamic ip.
I do?

so if I was to change my ip how does it work?
