This is dumb. That video doesn't show how "good" a CPU is, all they're doing is just being stupid taking off the heatsink and watching what happens to the CPU. The older AMD cpus didn't have thermal diodes and thats why they dont shutdown when it goes over like 100C. Besides, who would be dumb enough to run a computer without a heatsink?
agreed... the phenom II x4 is wayyyy cheaper than an i7 and from what i last knew it overclocks higher as well... if not as high...
i think amd is underrated but i like it because that means you'll get better shit for cheap instead of payin for the "name brand" _________________ This user's signature has been disabled

this test actually simulates what happenes if you leave the computer running for days or playing super intence games...
you people seaiously have no idea how these things work...
on top of that... go do some more restearch before you post...
AMD lasts alot shorter then Intel in the long run... as in they only run for about 1 to 2 years... right after your warrenty expires...
as for Intel... they last up to 10 years...
personally i have 2 Intel pentium 1 that i got for free from my school which they used as servers... (never shut down) for like 10years... and they will work perfectly...
and this test also has alot to do with over clocking... when your overclocking its as if you take off part of the heat sink...
thus telling you that an AMD is not good for overclocking...
and btw... core i7 came out around a year after... and it is alot more powerful...
no counting the overclock advantage

only person here who knows his stuff
@hacker Amd last up to 5-12 years
I think newest models don't really have that much difference
my comp temperature is 23-33 C maximum
I don't know how you can triple that. _________________ This user's signature has been disabled
