are you using the grahpics drivers made for xp or for vista?

also are you using the ones made by the company that made the card or the ones that were there by default on the instaltaion of xp?

you do have direct x 9.0c right?

also is it just on one game or have you tried multiple games

and how is it messed up?

you said something about it was skipping frames on the vista as well
did it just not correct the problem by formating?

also do you currently have both graphics cards plugged in or just one?

well i posted my pc status

it's hp pavilion a6647c pc, maybe this will help

when the new gfx was working on vista it was just skipping frames and it seemed like vista was crashing too much not just the game but lots of net stuff..maybe i had a virus, anyways

after i reformat gfx isn't working...i do not know which gfx card is causing the problem since one's built in with the pc and one i bought it and plugged it in...

question are both gfx card physically connected to the board? and are they both enabled? If so you need to uninstall or disabled one of the cards
